While generative AI seems to be getting all of the attention these days, the medical field is another area where AI is gaining traction. Axios reports about a partnership between Elsevier and OpenEvidence that’s helping doctors use generative AI to use medical research to treat patients in real time.

The tentative agreement between SAG-AFTRA and the studios seeks to curb the studios’ use of AI, but there are still concerns from union members about the use and reach of AI in the creative process.
